Balasore: Family members of a patient who died while undergoing treatment in Fakir Mohan MCH in Odisha’s Balasore district resorted to violence on Monday night.
As per reports, a youth was brought to the hospital after he complained of chest pain. Minutes later, he died on the medical premises where he was resting after being given primary medication.
Alleging medical negligence, family members of the deceased staged a protest and also blocked the road in front of the medical by burning tyres.
The angry relatives also reportedly vandalised the Out Patient Department (OPD) of the medical.
