Puri: After being declared dead by doctors, a 15-year-old boy was taken to Swargadwar at Odisha’s Puri for cremation.
However, someone from among his relatives felt that the boy was alive when preparations were on to consign the mortal remains to flames, giving a ray of hope to the mourning family. But, they were all terribly mistaken.
Amid a heart-wrenching scene at the cremation ground, someone suddenly claimed that the boy was moving his limbs and he appeared to be breathing, rekindling hope among near and dear ones.
The boy was immediately rushed to the hospital as many of those present at the site started feeling that the boy was moving his limbs and he could be given a new lease of life.
The boy, who hailed from Berhampur, was earlier undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for some ailment, was declared dead by the doctors.
His family members and relatives now started blaming the thinking that they had made a wrong declaration.
However, nobody could change the boy’s destiny. The rays of hope that had surfaced among the family members disappeared soon and they had no option but to accept the reality.
