Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone appears in front of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case probe.
Deepika was summoned by the NCB on Wednesday and she acknowledged the summon on Thursday. It is believed that NCB has summoned her after chats from 2017 came to the fore, where Deepika is allegedly asking for drugs.
But ahead of her questioning by NCB, #StandwithDeepika has been trending on Twitter since this morning. Her fans across the globe are showing support to her, who believes that she has been targeted by the central government because of her visit to Jawaharlal University (JNU) in January.
