New Delhi: Amid the ongoing protest by farmers, the BJP will has planned a massive campaign across the country to promote the controversial farm laws.

As part of the campaign, the BJP will hold as many as 700 press conferences and hundreds of public meets in all districts of the country on the new laws that the party says will benefit farmers, ANI reported.

Cabinet ministers will also take part in the communication campaign, BJP sources said, adding that the government’s measures to address the issues raised by farmers on the agricultural lawns will also be spelt out during the outreach.

Alleging that the Opposition was misguiding farmers, the sources said BJP leaders will also address questions and concerns people have about the new legislations, NDTV reported.

In a related development, the Bhartiya Kisan Union on Friday approached the Supreme Court against the three agriculture laws enacted by the government, ANI reported. The Union alleged that the new laws will make them vulnerable to corporate greed.
