New Delhi: In another strong message to the Centre, protesting farmers wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi using their blood, urging him to withdraw the contentious agricultural laws which were enacted in September.
The farmers have been agitating at different points of the Delhi border since November 26 and have not budged from their demand of a repeal of the three laws. They have repeatedly turned down the Centre’s proposal to discuss and amend some of the laws.
According to reports, a group of farmers donated blood at a camp set up near the Singhu border and used that blood to write to the PM.
“Good morning Narendra Modi ji, we are writing this letter with our blood. You are the Prime Minister of our country, elected by our votes. By passing these three laws, the farmers have been betrayed. We request of you to take back these laws,” the letter states.
Some farmers wrote messages like ‘Take back black law’, ‘We reject black laws, please take back’ with their blood.
