Mumbai: After three failed marriages, 66-year-old Lucky Ali, popular for his romantic tracks, recently expressed his desire to marry for the fourth time.
During the 18th Kathakar International Storyteller Festival, held at Delhi’s Sunder Nursery, the singer left tongues wagging by stating that he dreams of marrying for the fourth time.
“Dream hai ki main shaadi karunga phir se (I have a dream to get married again),” said Lucky Ali when asked about his dream at the International Storyteller Festival.
For those who don’t know, Lucky Ali first married Australian Meghan Jane McCleary in 1996. McCleary embraced Islam and the couple have two children, Ta’awwuz and Tasmiyah. However, they soon parted ways.
The singer married Anahita in 2000. Anahita is a Persian woman who converted to Islam and took the name of Inaya. They have two children, Sara and Raiyan. The singer’s second marriage also ended in divorce.
In 2010, Lucky married British model and former beauty queen Kate Elizabeth Hallam. Kate, who was 25 years younger than Lucky, also embraced Islam and took the name of Aeisha Ali. The couple have a son. They parted ways in 2017.
