Khurda: A father-duo died after their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding car on Chakapada-Tikatal road under Begunia police limits in Odisha’s Khurda district around 10 am on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Madhusudan Das and his son Kshirod Das. The accident took place while they were heading towards Khurda from Bolgarh. While Madhusudan died on the spot, his son succumbed to injuries while being rushed to a nearby hospital. The front portion of the car was completely damaged under the impact of the collision.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and police have initiated a probe into the accident.
