Father-Son Duo Shot At On Busy Road In Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: A minor incident took a violent turn when a man and his son sustained critical injuries after an occupant of a speeding car fired at them at Sinapali’s Rabana Chhak in Odisha’s Nuapada district on Saturday.

The father-son duo, identified as Saroj Meher of Jagannath Chhak and Naba Ranjan, was on a motorcycle. They sustained bullet injuries in their legs and were first admitted to a hospital in Sinapalli and later shifted to Khariar Mission Hospital after their condition deteriorated.

The incident took place after they allegedly had an argument with the occupants of the car after their two-wheeler dashed against the vehicle, Saroaj was riding the motorcycle with Naba sitting pillion, sources said.
