Kendrapara: A 10-feet long female crocodile and around 50 eggs were spotted at Arada village in Mahakalpada area of Kendrapara district on Sunday.
Sources said a resident spotted the crocodile and eggs at a nearby bamboo bush while he was collecting logs. He informed other residents about the same. They then sounded out the forest department.
On being informed, forest officials along with Mahakalpada ranger Bijay Parida reached the spot and rescued the female crocodile and its eggs.
