Bhubaneswar: Amid herpes scare and deaths of four elephants, Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP), on outskirts of the city, lost an ailing female hippopotamus on Thursday.
The death of semiaquatic mammal has again raised questions on the hygiene being maintained on the zoo premises.
