Female Nilgai Dies In Nandankanan Near Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A female Nilgai died at Nandankanan Zoological Park, on the outskirts of the Odisha capital, on Saturday.

The 69-year-old Asian antelope might have died due to old age-related diseases, sources said,

The number of Nilgais at the zoo has now come down to 16, which includes 11 females.
Notably, the zoo reopened for visitors on October 4 almost after a gap of over six months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
