Bhubaneswar: FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) has proposed to help Odisha in better showcasing the state’s industrial potential and new investment opportunities.
FICCI deputy secretary general Arun Chawla proposed this during a recent meeting with Industries, MSME and Energy Minister Dibya Sankar Mishra. The two also discussed various plans for industrial development of the state.
Mishra said the Odisha government’s association with FICCI would help in reaching out to various major domestic and global players and explore new investment possibilities.
FICCI has been the national industry partner for the Odisha government following the successful hosting of the 2nd Edition of Make in Odisha Conclave in 2018. The Federation has also facilitated various industrial outreach activities to attract key players and sizeable investments from outside the state.
