FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 To Kick Off Today; Check When And Where To Watch Matches Live

Bhubaneswar: One of the least fancied sides in the tournament, the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup 2022 opening match between India and  US will begin at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will see India’s young girls playing in a soccer World Cup for the first time. Tickets for the matches are already in very high demand.

Three cities – Bhubaneswar, Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), and Margao (Goa) – will host the tournament, while all of India’s group stage fixtures will be played in Odisha. India is in Group A alongside US, Morocco and Brazil.

India faces the US on October 11, followed by Morocco and Brazil on October 14 and October 17, respectively, at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

India’s fixtures in Group A:

  • October 11: Ind vs US (8 pm, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar)
  • October 14: Ind vs Morocco (8 pm, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar)
  • October 17: Brazil vs Ind (8 pm, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar)

The matches can be seen live in India from 8 pm. When and where to watch the live streaming?

  • Sports 18 has the broadcast rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2022 in India. Sports18 1, Sports18 1 HD and Sports18 Khel will live broadcast India’s matches at FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022.
  • Live streaming of India’s matches will be available on JioCinema.

The Indian squad will be led by Astam Oraon. “Tuesday is the day when we have to leave everything on the field. Our full focus is on the matches ahead and nothing else matters to us,” Oraon said in the press conference.
