New Delhi: Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday waxed eloquent about three newly elected MPs from Odisha to the Upper House of Parliament.
As the names of BJD’s Amar Patnaik and Sasmit Patra were mentioned by the Secretary-General for oath taking, Naidu welcomed them with impressive rhetorics.
“Three good additions from Odisha; highly educated and experienced”.
Both the MPs, who were elected unopposed along with the BJP’s Ashwini Vaishnav, took oath in Odia. Vaishnav had taken oath on July 1, also in Odia.
