Finish Non-Veg ‘Bullet Thali’ In An Hour & Take Home A Royal Enfield Bike

Pune: You have heard of numerous contests. But this one is rare — a challenge for those who love eating.

Participants have to finish a non-vegetarian thali within an hour at Atul Waikar’s Shivraj Hotel in Pune. And the prize is a Royal Enfield Bullet worth Rs 1.65 lakh!

The ‘Bullet Thali’, as it is called, consists of 12 dishes made with 4 kg of mutton and fish. The thali, priced at Rs 2500, includes Fried Surmai, Fried Pomfret, Chicken Tandoori, Dry Mutton, Grey Mutton, Chicken Masala and Kolumbi (Prawn) Biryani.

Anyone passing by can see Royal Enfield Bullet bikes placed in the verandah of the restaurant, reported timesnownews.com.

Waikar informed that there has been a good response to the ‘Bullet Thali’ contest as the footfall in the restaurant has increased.

And one person has already won the big prize! Somnath Pawar of Solapur devoured the thali in less than an hour and took home a Royal Enfield Bullet, according to India Today.

This is not the first such contest Waikar has thrown up. He had previously organized a contest in which four people had to finish an 8 kg ‘Ravan Thali’ within 60 minutes. The prize on that occasion was a ‘modest’ Rs 5,000 in cash.
