Mumbai: Ahead of the release of Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, one of the film’s actors Shri Tej is in the news for all the wrong reasons.
According to reports, Allu’s on-screen half-brother Shri Tej has been accused of cheating and exploiting a woman emotionally, financially and physically on the pretext of marriage.
An FIR has been filed against the ‘Pushpa 2’ actor under sections 69, 115(2), and 318(2) of IPC, according to an India Today report.
Tej allegedly got into a relationship with the victim, promising to marry her. He also borrowed Rs 20 lakh from the victim.
However, the victim claimed that at the time when he was in a relationship with her, Tej was also involved with another woman with whom he apparently has a seven-year-old son.
The victim stated that she had filed a complaint against the actor in April but later withdrew it when Tej’s family assured her help.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ will hit the theatres on December 5.
