Bhubaneswar: Fire broke out at the ongoing national handloom expo at Unit III Exhibition Ground in the Odisha capital on Friday evening.
The entry gate at the Exhibition Ground and a tree near it were partially burnt.
However, there was no loss of life, sources said.
The fire was brought under control in time by the fire personnel, who rushed to the spot.
Though the exact cause of the fire is yet to be known, an electrical short circuit is suspected to have triggered the fire, fire officers said.
