Fire Breaks Out At Khallikote College Hostel, No One Hurt

Berhampur: A major fire broke out at a hostel of Khallikote
(Autonomous) College here on Sunday.

No injury was reported in the mishap. But some documents were gutted.

Being informed about the incident, the local fire personnel rushed to
the spot and brought the situation under control.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out at the superintendent’s room on
Jhansirani hostel premises due to a suspected electrical short
circuit.

The exact loss due to the fire is yet to be ascertained, an official said.
