Cuttack: A major fire broke out again on the premises of the Aviation Research Centre (ARC) at Charbatia in the district on Tuesday.
According to sources, thick black smoke originating from the ARC covered the area as the fire started to spread. Seven fire tenders were pressed to control the fire, they added.
While the extent of damage to life and properties has not been reported, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The details are awaited.
It may be noted that this is for the third time in one month that the fire incident have been reported from the ARC premises. Earlier incidents took place on February 27 and January 27.
