Cuttack: A massive fire broke out in the Mangalabag branch building of Andhra Bank on Saturday morning.
According to reports, locals saw thick smoke billowing out of a surgical shop in the building and informed the fire brigade. Later, three fire engines rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
Chief Fire Officer Sukant Sethi informed that the fire has not spread to the bank. Efforts are on to prevent the spread of fire to other parts of the building, he added.
