Bhubaneswar: People of Daruthenga village, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, have expressed resentment over the gross apathy of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) for not taking any steps to extinguish the raging fire in a dumping yard near their village for the last three days.
According to sources, the fire which broke out in the dumping yard on the outskirts of the village on January 13 has affected vehicular movement as thick smoke from the yard has enveloped the entire area.
The BMC officials were not available for comment.
