Ghasipura: A fire broke out at State Bank of India (SBI) branch at Ghasipura in Odisha’s Keonjhar district late last night.
While documents, a few cabins and valuables were reportedly gutted, cash, computers, and other equipment survived the mishap.
The matter came to the light after passers-by spotted fire emanating from the building housing the bank and alerted Fire Services department. Soon, fire tenders arrived at the scene and managed to douse the flames.
Though cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, prima-facie it is suspected to have been triggered by an electrical short circuit.
