Bhubaneswar: Several fire tenders were rushed to National Health Mission (NHM) office at Unit-8 here on Friday after a fire broke out on its second floor.
This was the second fire incident in the city. Earlier in the day, patients had to be shifted from Apollo Hospitals to other private ones after a fire broke out on its fifth floor.
At NHM office, hundreds of important files and documents were reduced to ashes in the fire. However, there were no reports of casualties.
Though the exact cause of the fire is yet to be known, short circuit from the server is suspected to have triggered it.
