Fire Breaks Out At OMFED Plant In Odisha Capital; No One Hurt

Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out in the old OMFED plant located in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. No injury to anyone was reported due to the fire mishap, sources said.

After the fire erupted at the old plant of OMFED in the afternoon, thick smoke engulfed the whole area, creating panic among locals.

On being informed, personnel of the fire services immediately rushed to the site to douse the flame. The firefighters extinguished the fire within a short time.

The exact cause of the fire incident is yet to be ascertained.

It may be recalled here that a major fire had erupted in a seafood firm office in Bhubaneswar on Sunday morning,
