Rayagada: Property worth over lakhs were gutted after fire broke out at a paper plate industry, on the outskirts of Rayagada town, on Friday morning.
According to sources, the locals spotted smoke billowing out of Sai Paper Plate Industry in Ryot Colony at around 9 am.
On being informed, two Fire Brigade teams rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flamed after an hour-long effort.
The investigation is on by the Fire Services personnel to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
