New Delhi: A fire broke out at a gym operating under Salman Khan’s fitness brand in Delhi’s Greater Kailash-I on Thursday night, prompting a quick evacuation of the premises.
Police said no one was injured and no major damage was reported.
The incident took place at around 10:15 pm at the gym’s first-floor premises in M Block Market.
Police personnel reached the location soon after being alerted and evacuated the people present inside before the fire brigade arrived. Firefighters later brought the blaze under control.
Preliminary information suggests that an electrical short circuit could have sparked the fire, although officials are yet to determine the exact cause.
The premises were secured after the operation, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
