Jharsuguda: Seven workers were injured in a major fire that broke out at Vedanta Aluminium Limited in Jharsuguda district on Saturday.
All the injured persons were rushed to a nearby private hospital.
The mishap occurred in the green anode plant, said the sources.
On being informed, fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames.
The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained.
Company officials have started conducting an inquiry into the incident.
