Fire Breaks Out In Keonjhar-Bhubaneswar Train, Passengers Safe

Kendujhar: Panic gripped passengers of Keonjhar-Bhubaneswar Fast Passenger train near Tilikidhara station in Keonjhar district on Wednesday when they saw smoke billowing out of the luggage van.

According to available information, the loco pilot stopped the train after spotting the fire inside the luggage van and the passengers immediately alighted from the stationary train to prevent any untoward incident.

Receiving information about the mishap, fire and police personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames and later detached the luggage van from the train.

Though the exact reason behind the incident is not yet been ascertained, some passengers and employees of the train suspect that a short circuit might have triggered the fire.
