Bhubaneswar: A massive fire broke out at the studio of a private TV channel at Sarua in Odisha’s Khurda district, late on Tuesday.
According to sources, locals spotted the blaze and smoke billowing from first floor of the building this morning and informed the Fire Service department. Four firefighting teams soon arrived at the spot and managed to douse the flames.
No casualty was reported in the mishap since the employees had left after locking the studio last night. Articles worth several lakhs of rupees, however, were gutted.
A short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
