Fire Leaves 3 Families Homeless In Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: Three families were rendered homeless amid the intense cold wave sweeping Odisha after a major fire gutted their houses at a village in Jajpur district.

The incident was reported from Radhanagar in Rasulpur block on Wednesday night.

According to reports, a house in the village caught fire and then spread to nearby houses. Seven houses belonging to three families and assets worth lakhs were destroyed in the blaze. However, no casualties were reported.

On being informed, Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The reason behind the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
