Cuttack: A major fire engulfed a bakery shop in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Saturday evening.
According to sources, the fire broke out in the bakery shop, Urban Eats at Naya Sadak in the city. On being informed, the Fire Brigade reached the spot and started the exercise to extinguish the fire.
While nobody was injured in the incident, the loss of properties is yet to be estimated.
Assistant Fire Officer Sanjeev Kumar Behera said the fire is suspected to have been started by a short-circuit in electrical connections. But the inferno has been brought under control, he added.
