Balangir: A brother and sister were injured in a firecracker blast at Routmunda village under Tureikela block on Saturday.
Sources said the siblings were playing with a live firecracker when it went off accidentally, injuring them critically. The unexploded firecracker had been left on the road by a wedding procession the night before.
Residents rushed the injured siblings to a nearby hospital.
