Berhampur: Ganjam district administration on Saturday destroyed seized firecrackers worth over Rs 45 lakh in the city.
The firecrackers were seized from an under-construction house and Raj Kamal Store near Royal College on Andhapasara Road, here before Diwali festival on November 4 last year.
The crackers were destroyed on the order of the judicial court in presence of explosive experts and IIC of Gosaninuagaon police station at Sukunda garbage dump yard in Berhampur.
