Bhubaneswar: Police arrested two persons from Locharachati on
Chhattisgarh border for their alleged involvement in the recent firing
incident at a BJP activist’s house in Bijepur block of Bargarh
district.
The duo is being interrogated to extract information from them
regarding the crime.
Meanwhile, a group of BJP Yuva Morcha activists staged a demonstration
at Gandhi Chhack in Nabarangpur district alleging that BJD goons were
involved in the incident. They demanded immediate arrest of the
accused.
On Sunday evening, three unidentified miscreants opened fire at the
house of Mandal president of the party’s Yuva Morcha Manoranjan Meher
at Pada village in the district.
