First Coronavirus Patient Detected In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The first Coronavirus case has been detected in Odisha. A man affected by Covid-19 has been admitted at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, sources told Odisha Bytes.

The patient, whose identity cannot be revealed, returned from Italy recently. He subsequently took a train from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar ostensibly to avoid scrutiny. He is said to be in his thirties.

Through the government is yet to come up with an official version, hospital sources said the patient, a resident of Badagada area in the state capital, has been kept in isolation. His family members have also been kept under observation.
