First Lady Savita Kovind Joins COVID-19 Fight; Stitches Face Masks For Shelter Homes

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind’s wife, Savita Kovind, stitched face masks for the shelter homes at Shakti Haat in the President’s Estate on Wednesday.

The masks will be distributed in the shelter homes registered with Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board.

Sharing a message to fight the COVID-19 pandemic together, the first lady also covered her face with a red mask.

Meanwhile, 125 families in the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex are under self-isolation as per the Health Ministry’s guidelines after one positive COVID-19 case found there.
