Bhubaneswar: The first round of Promotion Adalats to hear the grievances of 2,273 employees began in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
As decided earlier, six senior officers will preside over the Promotion Adalats at six venues.
Mentioned below is the time and place where the following officers will hear the grievances of the concerned department employees today.

Notably, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department on January 23 had received online applications from 8,909 employees who were eligible for promotion as on December 31, 2019. Out of 8909 applications, 2,273 applications have been shortlisted and the names uploaded on its official website.
To boost the morale and efficiency of the government employees, the Chief Minister had directed all department authorities to complete this process by December 31 every year to ensure their promotion from January 1.
He had also made it clear that in case someone is eligible and due, and not promoted, the responsibility for lapses will be fixed on the higher authorities.
