Fish-Laden Tractor Swept Away In River Jalaka In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A fish-laden tractor was swept away in River Jalaka at Silda in Chhanua panchayat near here on Saturday.

According to sources, the road at Silda was submerged with floodwaters of Jalaka when the mishap occurred. The tractor driver carrying fish entered water and was swept away along with the vehicle when he ventured into the flooded area despite warning from the onlookers.

However, the driver and his assistant managed to swim ashore.
