Bhadrak: A local fisherman caught a 5-foot-long fish, weighing around 30 kg, from the Baitarin
i near Piteipur in Sohada panchayat under Dhamnagar block in Odisha’s Bhadrak district last evening.
According to sources, the huge fish was trapped in the net of one Ashok Tarai, a local fisherman, due to the rise in the river’s water level following rains over the last few days. It is locally known as ‘Saranta’.
As soon as the news spread, a large crowd gathered at the spot to see the gigantic fish.
