Balasore: All the eight fishermen, who went missing in the sea after a boat carrying them capsized at Balichadha near Wheeler Island in Chandbali of Balasore district on Tuesday, have been rescued successfully.
According to available information, the fishermen hailing from Kashafala area in the district had gone for fishing into the deep waters when their boat capsized after a strong current overturned it.
On receiving information about the mishap, a team of Dhamra Marine police officials swung into action and managed to rescue six of the victims. Later, two others were also rescued from the deep waters after another search operation.
Although those rescued are not injured, they are in a state of shock.
