Paradip: Six fishermen were rescued after their trawler sank when it hit a half-sunk cargo ship, Black Rose, near Pardip coast in Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the six had gone for deep-sea fishing on Monday. While returning to the jetty at Nehru Bangalow, they could not locate the half-sunk ship due to dense fog. As a result, their trawler collided with the cargo ship and sank.
Fortunately, some nearby fishermen rushed to the spot and rescued the six.
