Kalahandi: Five Anganwadi centres in Kalahandi district have received ISO certification on Saturday, district administration informed.
The Anganwadi centres got the ‘ISO 9001:2015’ certification for providing quality services in better nutrition, immunisation, health check-up, pre-school education and sustainable skill livelihood for women.
The two Anganwadi centres are Jodabandha AWC of Champadeipur Grampanchayat (GP) and Lanjigarh Road 2 (AWC) of Lanjigarh Road GP in Lanjigarh block while three Nand Ghars situated in Basantapada, Kansari and Kendubardi in Lanjigarh block.
The certification was issued for a period of three years with effect from July 17 and will remain valid till July 16, 2023.
