Five Children Flee From Shelter Home In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Five minor boys fled from a Bhubaneswar based-shelter home in the Odisha capital on Monday night.

According to sources, the children broke the grill of the bathroom with a spoon and made good their escape. The shelter home authorities filed a complaint in this regard at the Lingaraj Police Station here on Tuesday.

The fact that the children evaded CCTV cameras and 24-hour security is astounding. The police have started a probe into the matter.

This is not the first incident at the shelter home. On May 1, 2017, eleven children escaped from here by breaking open two ventilators of the bathroom. The police have yet to rescue them.
