Five Corona Warriors Among New COVID Cases In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj: The COVID-19 tally in Mayurbhanj district touched 225 on Friday with 10 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The new cases included five corona warriors from Bisoi and Badsahi blocks.

Five of the new patients were local contact cases and five were reported from quarantine centres, the district administration tweeted.


The district administration informed that five cases were reported in Badsahi block, two cases each in Bisoi and GB Nagar and one in Baripada.

With 154 patients having recovered from the infection, the district now has 70 active cases.
