Five Critical After Kolkata-Bound Bus Rams Into Truck In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: Five persons were critically injured after a bus in which they are travelling dashed into a stationary truck near Begunia Chhak in Balasore’s Khantapada late on Thursday.

According to sources, the accident took place when driver of the Kolkata-bound bus with around 50 passengers lost control over the vehicle and smashed it into a truck parked near Begunia Chhak. Driver and helper of the bus fled the spot soon after the accident.

On being informed, Khantapada police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to Balasore district headquarters hospital.
