Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast thunderstorm with gusty wind reaching 30- 40 kmph, along with lightning and rain in some parts of Rayagada, Kandhamal, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Ganjam till 8 pm on Monday.
Rain, thunderstorm and lightning are also likely in some parts of Koraput, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Keonjhar, Puri, Jajpur, Nayagarh and Cuttack (including Cuttack city), during this period.
According to the MeT office, rainfall activity in the state will continue till 8.30 am on April 16.
