Bhubaneswar: Five more COVID-19 patients in Odisha have recovered from the infection, the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted on Tuesday.
One each from Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Sundargarh and Kendrapada have been fully cured, it said, adding that the total recoveries in the state stand at 29.
While Dhenkanal and Kalahandi now have zero COVID cases, Bhubaneswar has seen 18 recoveries and one of the two patients in Kendrapada have been cured of the disease. Sundargarh has one active case.
Odisha now has 49 active cases. The total number of positive cases confirmed so far is 79. The virus has claimed one life in the state.
