Five Injured In Clash Over Land Dispute In Balasore

Balasore: Five persons were injured, three of them seriously, in a bloody clash between two families of Digibhanra village under Soro police limits in Odisha’ Balasore district on Sunday morning.

According to sources, the two families had a long-standing dispute over a piece of land in their village. The incident took place in the morning when members of one family tried to take possession of the land. At this, members of the other family rushed to the spot, where they attacked each other with lathis and sharp weapons.

While five members of both the families were injured in the incident, the condition of three is stated to be critical.

Following information, Soro police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the district headquarters hospital.
