Phulbani: Five prisoners of sub-jail at G Udayagiri are among the 11 fresh COVID-19 cases reported from the south Odisha district of Kandhamal in the last 24 hours.
A 50-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy, relatives of one of the five prisoners, have also tested positive for the virus.
The remaining four cases are from Kabarakhana Sahi in Peonpada locality of Phulbani town, the district administration tweeted.
With two deaths and 261 recoveries, Mayurbhanj district now has 200 active cases.
