Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday brought five more departments under the ambit of its Mo Sarkar initiative.

Expressing happiness over the inclusion of the five departments— Forest & Environment, Information & Public Relations, Tourism, Sports & Youth Services and Skill Development & Technical Education at a function at Loka Seva Bhavan, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the officials and employees of these departments for their keenness to shift gears for this transformative initiative.

Stating that as many as 12 departments have already embraced Mo Sarkar initiative, the Chief Minister said he has made several phone calls and received a good feedback. “We have taken tough action wherever there have been lapses and appreciated wherever the feedback has been good. The success of Mo Sarkar solely depends on the effectiveness of the feedback mechanism. I wish all the departments to keep their feedback mechanism in good shape,” he pointed out.

Expressing his earnest desire to see the transformative initiatives empower the people of the state, he said the common-man must feel that he is the real master and he is living in a truly democratic system.
